If anyone has a better idea to cure diaper rash, let me know! I'm literally so desperate that I got Hailey naked and let her hang out in the playpen lined with a towel!! I've tried Desitin, baby powder, getting her bum really dry before re-diapering, changing diapers right away, and switching back to Pampers Sensitive wipes. She gets upset even before I change the diaper because she knows it's gonna hurt! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
What a cute bum though, huh?? :)

(She's so gonna hate me for these when she gets to junior high!!)

maybe the swimming is making it worse?
Gabby has such a bad rash too right now. We took her to the drs yesterday and she said to bath her a couple time warm water (you can use that aveeno bath treatmeant it kind of helps) Poor Hailey Gabby knows how she feels...she crys too when we have to change the bum...so sad.
I LOVE those pictures!! :) Have you tried Butt Paste, that cures it in no time for Maddie. Poor little pumpkin!!!! Looks like you are having a blast :)
What a cute bum!
Baby powder and then coating it with vaseline works for me. The vaseline creates a barrier so moisture can't get in. I would put it on before she goes in the pool, because it's probably drying her out.
My doc and my dad (the pediatricians in my life) have always told me to just air dry then use vaseline, but the baby powder gets it dry way faster!
GOOD LUCK!
Aquaphor!! The best stuff ever and don't use baby wipes it makes it burn even more. Use a wet wash cloth for a couple of days but the aquaphor should cure it within 24 hours. Good luck
Lots of different idea...here is what works for Lola...We use Weleda diaper-care, its a natural product that doesn't contain petrolium. There is also a Weleda Calendula Baby Cream (lotion like) that we use. You can get it in the natural health/organic section of Fred Meyer. It works great w/o chemicals. Poor baby bottom but very cute baby =)
Poor sweet Hailey! Wish I could give some advice. I still don't know what I am doing. Ha.
OK- you don't know me, I'm friends with Jenny Vollmer, and I linked to this from her site. Here is my suggestion- it REALLY worked for our son. Fill up a warm bath and put in baking soda. Just straight baking soda out of the box- a good bit, maybe a cup or so. Let her sit in it and play for as long as she can stand it.
Then dry her off, and put Balmex on. I give my son the baking soda bath once or twice a week when he has diaper rash and it ALWAYS relieves his pain.
Let me know if it works!

Sounds like she is teething. That causes really bad diaper rash. Poor thing. That is so hard. Sounds like you have lots of things to try.

I see that someone suggested Aquaphor. I also heard from someone using a tip from a "nic-u" nurse.
Combine Aquaphor and cornstartch, make a paste. I did not use it, but my friends baby had a bleeding diaper rash and it worked.
