I am overwhelmed at the love there is for my son. We celebrated his first birthday today with lots of our family and a few friends and there was no shortage of joy in our home.

After making Owen a special wheat-free cake, all he ate was the frosting. ;)
This is my favorite picture of the whole day. You can actually hear him yelling! This, of course, came about 15 minutes after the cake eating started...right as the sugar kicked in.
This boy was SPOILED when it came to the birthday gift portion of the day! Everyone was so generous...I was in shock.
I hope you always know how loved you are, my sweet boy.

What a great party! Love all the details. I made a bday banner for Jonas' first birthday and then I couldn't part w/ it when it was all over with so I kept it and reused it at his second birthday and might even use it for Sophie's first (or maybe she'll get her own girly one, would be fun to make another one). Owen is just the cutest. I hope we can spend some time with all your clan this summer.
