Eagle Power!!!

Look what my dad brought home from the FW High football game!! My own set of Eagle beads. I would be a third generation Eagle, you know...my nana and papa went there, and my mommy too.
Who cares about school spirit...these are delicious! (My mom let me play with these until she noticed the black ink all over my mouth...cheap beads are never good! :)

232 Days...

I just got done watching this video (for the second time) about Eliot Mooney, a baby born with trisomy-18. I watched the video and have been sobbing almost uncontrollably ever since. I am so ungrateful at times for the things I have...especially my family. Anyone who knows me, can probably remember the struggles Todd and I went through to even conceive Hailey, and it saddens me to think that sometimes I find myself frustrated with her waking up in the night, or whining, or having to change yucky diapers. This family would give anything for more messy diapers or night wakings. Just after the video was over I snuck into Hailey's room, scooped her up, and tearfully thanked the Lord for the gift He gave me. I've had 232 wonderful days with my baby, and am thankful for each and every one of them.
Here's me...just trying to crawl. No such luck yet, but I'll keep you posted...or at least my mom will. :)
Here's me and my Nana hanging out on the porch. I love being outside!
My uncle Chris calls this my "bitter beer face". :)
I don't really know what this face is...but I sure look silly with my hat on sideways!
My aunt Lynn Honey got me this sweatshirt. It says, "If you think I'm cute, you should see my aunt!" :) So true...

Onward Christian Soldier...

This was the theme of the shower. I was so excited to do "boy" themes, and I thought camo was very appropriate! Look at how the table turned out. THANK YOU to Steph, Megan, Kara, Peggy and my mom for helping with the food, games, and decorations. And don't worry Greg...your G.I. Joes are safe and sound! :)
Check this cupcake tower out! I met Anna (cupcake baker) through Peggy who used to work at a bakery, but now bakes at her house. Turns out we had our daughters on the same day at the same hospital!! :)
Look at all the loot that baby Camp scored!! If you've checked Christy's blog lately, you'll know that she managed to get EVERYTHING she needed through the generosity of the people in her life. Now all we need is a BABY!! (Could you get on that, Christy?? Geeze... :)
Well, I hope to have a "He's Here" post for all of you soon...I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I have a new nephew!! :)

Please Pray for Grandma...

So, she's still in the hospital, anxiously awaiting the doctor at the UW to decide if and when he'll be doing surgery to close the wound in her abdomen. However, because of her lack of mobility and months spent in her hospital bed, she's got pneumonia. This can be really dangerous for someone in her position, so please pray for God's healing of her body. I saw her tonight and she's basically out of it right now. We're all pretty bummed, because this will probably even further delay the surgery.
